Outplayed exists for one reason: CS2 traders deserve honest data. Not data curated by a marketplace that wants you to list with them. Not “best deal” badges paid for by the highest bidder. Just real, multi-venue prices — net of fees — refreshed every minute.
Why independence matters
In November 2025, the largest CS2 price-comparison site was acquired by a skin marketplace. Overnight, the “neutral” comparison platform that millions of traders trusted became owned by one of the venues it was supposed to compare honestly.
That's not necessarily wrong — but it changes the incentives, and most traders never got told. We think you should know who you're trusting and what their incentives are. That's why we've committed, in writing, to never sell Outplayed to a marketplace.
Our commitments
We will not be owned by a marketplace.
Not Buff. Not CSFloat. Not Skinport. Not Steam. If that ever changes, we'll tell every user on the front page.
