How much of the CS2 skin universe is catalogued, and how much of it has a price you can act on right now.
- Items tracked
- 43,079
- Items with a live price
- 26,782
- Items on 2+ marketplaces
- 8,909
- Collections
- 94
- Cases
- 42
- Items in case pools
- 2,206
Distinct CS2 items (app 730) in the Outplayed catalog, counting every wear and variant as its own item. Includes items with no current listing.
Items with at least one listing seen on Skinport, CSFloat or DMarket in the last 24 hours. This is the base for every price figure below.
Items listed on at least two of the tracked marketplaces within the last 24 hours, so their prices can be compared directly.
Distinct CS2 skin collections in the catalog, such as weapon-case and souvenir sets.
Distinct CS2 cases and capsules with a known drop pool.
Total item entries across all tracked case and capsule drop pools; an item appearing in two cases counts twice.
Prices
Every price figure treats one item at its cheapest live listing across the tracked marketplaces, so an item listed in three places counts once.
- Median item price
- $3.13
- Average item price
- $97.44
- Cost of one of everything
- $2,609,692.32
- Most expensive live listing
- $100,000.00P250 | Verdigris (Factory New)
The midpoint price: half of all items with a live listing cost less than this, half cost more. The median, not the average, is the honest measure of a typical skin — a handful of five-figure stickers pull the average far above what anything normally trades for.
The arithmetic mean across all items with a live listing. Shown next to the median to make the skew visible; on its own it is not representative of a typical item.
What it would cost to buy exactly one of every item that currently has a live listing, each at its cheapest tracked price. A measure of catalogue breadth — not the market's total value, which would also require knowing how many of each item exist.
The highest-priced single listing seen across the tracked marketplaces in the last 24 hours. Listing prices are asking prices, not confirmed sales.
Price distribution
How items with a live listing spread across price bands, each item counted once at its cheapest tracked price. The bands are fixed in US dollars; prices elsewhere on this page follow your selected currency.

Marketplace coverage
Which marketplaces these figures are built from, how many items each one covers, and when each was last read. Every feed is dated separately.
| Marketplace | Quoted in | Items covered | Updated in last 24h | Last read |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| skinport | EUR | 25,507 | 25,180 | |
| dmarket | USD | 9,360 | 8,339 | |
| csfloat | USD | 5,521 | 4,605 |
“Items covered” counts every item ever seen on that marketplace; “updated in last 24h” counts those refreshed inside the window. Where the two differ, that marketplace holds items we have not re-read recently, and only the fresher subset feeds the figures above.
Cross-market spreads
Price gaps for items listed on more than one marketplace, measured after each marketplace's selling fees.
- Items compared
- 3,346
- Median net spread
- 4.33%
- Items with a positive spread
- 1,671
Items priced on at least two marketplaces where every price used was read within the last 24 hours. Rows built on older prices are excluded.
The midpoint gap between the cheapest place to buy an item and what the best alternative venue would net on a sale, after that venue's fees. Half of compared items show a smaller gap, half a larger one.
Compared items where the best net selling price exceeds the cheapest buying price after fees. This is a price gap, not guaranteed profit: it ignores trade holds, transfer time and whether a buyer is actually waiting.
Methodology
The unit of observation is one item at its cheapest live listing across the tracked marketplaces. Items are deduplicated across marketplaces before any average, median or distribution is computed, so an item listed in three places cannot count three times.
Marketplaces quote in different currencies — Skinport in euros, CSFloat and DMarket in US dollars. All prices are converted to a single currency at the exchange rate captured with the price sync before anything is compared, then displayed in whichever currency you have selected. The distribution bands stay fixed in US dollars.
A listing counts as live if it was read within the last 24 hours. Every figure is published with the timestamp of the newest observation behind it, and each marketplace feed is dated separately rather than hidden behind a single site-wide “updated today”.
What this page does not publish
Some figures people ask for are missing on purpose. Our Steam price-history collection is not currently producing usable data, and a stale number presented as current is worse than no number at all. These return when the underlying collection is healthy again:
- Trading volume and market capitalisation. Both need reliable sales history, which is exactly what the affected collection provides. No volume or market-cap figure appears anywhere on this page.
- Liquidity scores and turnover bands. These are derived from the same sales history. Their internal records refresh on schedule and therefore look current, but the values behind them are not — so they are excluded rather than published with a misleadingly recent timestamp.
- Bid-ask spreads and order-book depth, whose collection is currently paused.
