After fees, CSFloat leaves you 11.36% more in hand than Skinport — the same ratio at any sale price.
Fee percentages only. The two venues rarely price the same skin identically, so the sale price you can actually achieve differs too — that is what the price-feed comparison above measures. Taxes, currency conversion at your bank and any promotional fee discounts are not modelled.
Beyond fees
The fee gap is rarely the whole story. Trade holds, delivery and payout routes decide as many trades as the percentage does.

Common questions
Does CSFloat or Skinport charge the lower seller fee?
CSFloat charges 2% and Skinport charges 12% on the seller side, as published by each venue and last reviewed on 2026-04-01. The lower percentage does not automatically mean more money in hand: cash-out fees and the price each venue's buyers actually pay both change the outcome.
Do items from CSFloat and Skinport come with a trade hold?
CSFloat: 7 days. Skinport: None — tradable immediately. A trade hold is Steam's own restriction on re-trading a freshly traded item; venues that deliver from their own bots can hand you an item that has already sat out its hold.
Is CSFloat or Skinport cheaper for buying CS2 skins?
CSFloat carries the lower asking price on 85.8% of the 3314 items we currently see priced on both. That is a comparison of listed asks, not completed sales, and it moves as both venues re-price.
